Oxnard, California has a rich history in farming dating back to 1867 when the Borchard and Maulhardt families planted 30 acres of wheat and 30 acres barley. The wheat rusted but the barley took and farming was born on the plain. By 1898, the Oxnard brothers financed the world's largest sugar refinery and sugar beets were added to the farming diet. In 1903, the city of Oxnard was incorporated and took its name from the brothers who put up the money that placed the city on the map.

Sugar beets added diversity to the agriculture landscape that also included lima beans, barley, and later citrus and strawberries. Businesses have been serving the agricultural community of Oxnard since the turn of the century by providing equipment and supplies to area farmers.

Diamond A Equipment looks forward to being a part of that history and it our sincere desire to provide the community with quality service for a long time to come.
